Inc. announced that the European H2020 project named FLAME, has launched the
company’s 5G testbed for trials of future open media internet services in
several European towns. The 5G testbeds allow the consumer-focused and
realistic trial of 5G technologies. The trials will use the FLAME Service
Delivery platform with Next Generation Network Flexible IP-based Services (FLIPS)
platform, established by InterDigital. The FLIPS platform advances the delivery
of service requests on top of developing programmable infrastructures for
different 5G facilities.
